Ag Innovation Campus
The Ag Innovation Campus is a one-of-a-kind oil seed crushing facility. The campus is uniquely positioned to advance research to commercialization, process identity preserved oil seeds such as soybeans, and train the processing staff of the future.
- AMS secured more than $5 million in funding from the state of Minnesota and secured private funding for Phase One
- The AIC is begin crushing soybeans in summer 2023
- Phase Two and Three incorporate laboratories, educational spaces, research bays
- The AIC will have a bio-secure “crushwalk” for visitors to safely observe the crushing process, and when possible, research projects under development
- The AIC will serve as a hub for international trade teams, private industries and academia to learn more about value-added agriculture in Minnesota

Plasma Blue
Plasma Blue
The novel technology creates biodiesel from electricity. No petroleum is needed for the creation of Plasma Blue’s biodiesel, meaning lower carbon footprint during production and at the tailpipe.
- AMS helped Plasma Blue upscale the technology to produce more biodiesel annually
- AMS helped promote the potential of the Plasma Blue technology to prospective customers
- Plasma Blue has been tested across several biodiesel plants
- Plasma Blue is now testing its technology for other uses

Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance
- AMS worked with two boards who shared nearly identical membership
- AMS built a strategy to dissolve the two boards and come together as SSGA
- The new organization created financial efficiencies while uniting membership under common goals
- AMS secured more than $2 million in federal grants to launch the Identity Preserved brand assurance mark
- Brand launched in December 2021. Today 13 companies use the Identity Preserved brand to promote their products abroad, with more than a dozen applications awaiting approval
