Open house showcases new ‘Offsite Meetings and Events’ space

Punching the time clock came with more invigoration Oct. 15, when the community gathered to celebrate the addition of the region’s new venue: Offsite Meetings and Events.  

“We’re really excited to have this new facility here in Mankato and we hope that everyone comes out and utilizes the space that we’ve built,” said Tom Slunecka, CEO of the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council (MSR&PC), the organization that owns the building. “It’s something we’re very proud of.” 

Joined by Greater Mankato Growth and other community leaders for an open house and ribbon cutting, visitors had ample opportunity to explore the multiple spaces Offsite has for rent, including an auditorium that seats over 80 guests with several features:  

• Video and voice tracking capabilities ensuring there is no bad seat in the house. 

• Looking for an interactive experience? Open the garage doors and drive large-scale equipment or displays right into the auditorium. 

• Want to show off your photos or video? Utilize the nearly 300-inch presentation screen! 

Looking for a more personal environment for your next board meeting? Check out Offsite’s executive board room or large conference room! Both offer:

Additional Offsite accommodations include day-of staff support, ample guest parking, a dining facility with cater-friendly kitchen space included in the rental cost and an atrium area for networking.  

“We always love to see new businesses being added in Mankato and we’re really excited about the potential that Offsite brings to our community,” said Tyler Kuch, membership director at Greater Mankato Growth.
