Deanna, AMS Communications Project Manager, is a southern Minnesota native, having grown up on a farm in Steele County. She completed her undergrad degree in agricultural communications and marketing at the University of Minnesota with minors in animal science, agronomy and ag & food business management. Following college, Deanna worked in the greenhouses at Walt Disney World in Florida, as well as a two-year stint as a clinical research coordinator in the cancer center at the Mayo Clinic. During her time at Disney, she was able to acquire her MBA in marketing management from Wilmington University in Delaware.

In her spare time, Deanna enjoys traveling, reading, reality television and trying to convince her Floridian friends that Minnesota’s brutal winters are still better than Florida’s brutal summers. She also has a cat named Gracie and a collection of houseplants.

Fun Fact: Deanna has traveled to 45 of the 50 U.S. states.
