Under his role of Manager of Strategic Programs at AMS, Gary Williams serves as director of transportation and regulatory affairs for the Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance and executive director for the Upper Mississippi Waterway Association and Northern Soy Marketing. Overall, he has nearly 40 years of experience in merchandising, transportation and managing specialty grains and oilseeds from seed to end use. Gary grew up on a small beef farm before going on to graduate from Ohio State University.

Fun fact: No stranger to overcoming obstacles and hurdles, Gary is also a lead guide at the Mount Saint Helens Institute in Washington.
