Katelyn used her skills in communications and public relations to move into the lead role for Northern Soy Marketing. When she’s not helping the NSM board of directors push their soy quality message, she lends her communications skills to the Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance. Katelyn graduated from North Dakota State University in 2015 with a double major in Agricultural Communications and Public Relations & Advertising and a minor in Animal Science. She lives in Fargo with her husband, Kelly and daughter, Kennedy.

Fun Katelyn fact: Growing up on a dairy and crop farm in Chokio, Minn., she was a finalist for Princess Kay of the Milky Way in 2013 and still has her butter sculpture.
